Samyama Trunk Stretch Routine - a series of stretches designed to keep the trunk flexible and mobile
Asana- means steady seat, the practice of yoga poses to acheive flexibility, strength, co-ordination, balance, dynamic and static endurance
Kriyas - synchronising body movement with breath
Pratahara - learning to take your mind away from conflict. This is practiced during yoga Nidra in the general class. Also in meditation class, in sitting position and in Yoga Nidra
Pranayama - breath control, aimed at cultivating the vital life force within (Prana)
Yoga Nidra - yoga in the position of sleep. De-stress the body and mind by learning to relax the body and still the mind
Vinyasana - a series of postures
What to bring
Comfortable clothing allowing you freedom of movement, a water bottle, blanket, pillow and yoga mat. A strap is optional as I have straps available
Avoid a heavy meal before class as this allows for a more comfortable yoga practice
On your first day arrive 5-10 minutes before class to fill in your registration form and if you have any concerns please let me know before class commences
